Canadian Armed Forces
The Cadet Program provides opportunities for youth to gain valuable knowledge and skills that build confidence and help pave the way in a transition to adulthood. Cadets engage in varied and unique experiences, while developing competencies in leadership, citizenship, and physical and mental fitness. Offering positive youth development programs in communities across Canada.
Army Cadets build outdoor and leadership skills through participation in expedition activities such as hiking, climbing, kayaking, orienteering.
The Cadet Program strives to offer Cadets a safe, welcoming, and supportive program environment where all feel respected, valued, included and able to achieve their full potential.
Cadets are supervised, administered, and trained by Cadet Instructor Cadre officers and non-commissioned members of a sub-component of the Reserve Force of the Canadian Armed Forces who, by the terms of their enrolment or transfer, have undertaken as their primary duty the safety, supervision, administration, and training of Cadets.

Hello parents, guardians, and friends of 180! The 180 Parent’s Supporting Committee is the main sponsoring body for all special activities organized by the Unit. All guests, 18 and over, are welcome to join and help support this fantastic Unit - and we need your help to ensure 180 offers the best program for our cadets!

Kingsway Legion is a proud sponsor of four Cadet Units in Edmonton including 180 20th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.

Army Cadet League of Canada (Alberta)
The Army Cadet League of Canada is a registered Society and was officially formed in 1971 to Department of National defense (DND) in support of Army Cadets. The National League office is located in Ottawa and there is a League Branch for each of the provinces and the territories. The Alberta Branch became a registered society in October 15. 1971.
The ACLC Alberta Branch has 16 executives which oversees 3 zones (Northwest, Northeast and Southern) which support 40 Cadet Corps Support Committees across the province, and the over 500 screened volunteers who assist each corps.
The Branch ensures financial, accommodations, training equipment and transportation support for programs and services not provided by the Department of National Defense to more than 1,400 (Feb 2021) Army Cadets in our province.

20th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA
20th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery (RCA) is a Primary Reserve field artillery unit of the Canadian Forces.
The Regiment pride itself on the uniqueness and versatility of the unit. There are many opportunities to stream and specialize in the abounding branches within Artillery.
Their members currently stand ready to be employed in both Domestic and Non-Domestic operations on short notice with the Regular Force. 20th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery traces its roots back to the 2nd of February, 1920 when it was formed. The Regiment has since seen action in WWII, Korea, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslavia, and Afghanistan.

Fort Scott - Legion of Frontiersman
This fieldstone monument has a white cross on top and five plaques dedicated to the memory of Frontiersmen who fell in the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Dominion Commandants. It is located along Highway 14 near Hastings Lake in the southeast corner of Strathcona County. The historic place is inclusive of the open area surrounding the monument which is bounded by the access road on the north and the highway on the south.
It also serves as a location where cadets get to apply their knowledge and learned skills during field training exercises.

They sell Board Games, Card Games, and Miniature Games. They have a large stock of Games Workshop, Magic the Gathering, Bolt Action, Star Wars Legion, Battletech, and Marvel Crisis Protocol. They also have a selection of Roleplaying books, as well as D&D and Pathfinder unpainted miniatures.

Alberta Aviation Museum
The Alberta Aviation Museum is dedicated to keeping Edmonton’s rich aviation history alive. Our historic World War II hangar has more than 30 aircraft on display, a restoration area, gift shop, simulators, and a large events facility.
